Rents in Denver keep falling as the pandemic persists, according to estimates by the online real estate company Apartment List.
In its latest monthly report, Apartment List calculated the median rent for a Denver two-bedroom at $1,551 in November, down less than 1 percent from October and down 5 percent from last November. It was the eighth straight month that rents have decreased in Denver. They are down 5.7 percent since the pandemic arrived in Denver in March. #denver #realestate #rentoown
Apartment List bases its rent estimates on data from the Census, its own listings and from capturing rents on contracts that are signed.
Zumper, another online real estate company, looks at its own and other listings in hundreds of cities across the country. For November, Zumper calculated Denver’s median two-bedroom rent at $1,910, down less than 1 percent from October and up slightly from November, 2019.
